At this point, we all know that being physically active is good for us. Staying physically active helps children and adolescents improve their muscular fitness, bone health, and heart health. Adults who are physically active see a lowe risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, or some types of cancer. Even older adults see significant health improvements if they remain active includinge lowering their risks fo falling; and improving their cognitive functioning.

We can all do something to be more active. Consider being active as a family by going for a walk or bike ride. Encourage your child's shcool to include physical activity as aprt of your studen't day.
